Launceston camera club has been going for nearly 50 years now. Like most clubs it has had ups and downs but has become nationally recognized in the 2020s by winning the Amateur Photographer Magazine's Camera club of the year for two successive years in 2021 and 2022.

Launceston is a friendly club and prides it's ethos of encouraging all the members to improve and enjoy their photography leading to the club becoming a successful team.
