Shortly after moving to Axminster in the early 2000’s Barrie joined Axminster Photography Group, he served as Chair and later  Secretary. He was also a member of the WCPF Executive. Barrie was an active member and accomplished Photographer whose interest had a bias towards Travel, Nature and Steam Railways with the ethos being minimal post camera manipulation “Get it right first time“ being his objective
