WCPF Update
We have a new website and a new domain name.
For a period of time, our old site will remain in place and allow access to the information held there but this will eventually disappear. We have had to change as our provider, who is retiring and advised us that that we may lose it in the coming months. I have also had to change the domain name for security reasons and to benefit from what is provided by our new provider. Once the old site goes down, the information will be lost that I cannot transfer to the new site but all relevant and important information will remain.
The DPIC competition was held on Sunday the 7th February and I can only thank those who were involved in making it such a successful event. I have only had positive feedback following it from those who joined in on the day. Also congratulations to all award winners. Results ready on the webpage.
Council Meeting - Knightshayes Due to circumstances for 2021, this will also be a Zoom meeting scheduled for Saturday 6th March, the subject this year is “Togetherness”. The closing date for entries for the Knightshayes is the 13th February, for full details for the competition and Council Meeting can be found on the webpage Knightshayes Trophy 2021. The afternoon lecture is coming to us from Chris Palmer FRPS DPAGB APAGB EFIAP , Talk “The Eloquent Landscape”
Members Exhibition Sadly the member’s exhibition had to be cancelled in 2020, but the 2021 exhibition is being brought to you, however, it will be very different as it is looking very much like the restrictions will still be with us in May. We are carrying forward the entries from the 2020 exhibition but there is flexibility and more details can be found on the Members Exhibition 2021 webpage
It is very fluid and as we know guidelines and restrictions are changing daily and these we do have to follow but hopefully, as we move further into the year, we can only hope we get back to some normality and the other functions we have planned, Inter-Club Print Competition, Kingswood Salver, and the AGM we can hold as we have always done. We can only notify you of these and any changes as we get closer to the event notifying your club reps, and via the WCPF website and the WCPF Facebook link.
